Quality ocean surveyed boats for hire. Due to COVID-19 we are now running from Dampier WA for a yet to be determined time frame! Murchison Boat Hire has been operating in Kalbarri for over 18 years, supplying quality boats for hire to the general public, fishermen, whale watchers and commercial work. We are a family-owned fishing boat hire business located in the beautiful north in Western Australia, where some of the best fishing for bottom and game fish is available along Western Australia's coral coast. With the unexpected events of COVID-19 in 2020, we have moved our 3 boats up to Dampier for hire. We are currently dropping down to Onslow or Exmouth turnoffs if long enough hires depending on availability. ($1.50 per km rate) Call to discuss your requirements. Please note - We do not offer charters.

5.3m - Mzilikazi Roller - $350 a day
Our smallest boat in the fleet, the 5.3m boat is licensed for 5 persons to 3nm offshore, is easily launched and ideal for a small crew. Powered by a 100hp, very economical 4-stroke Yamaha and complete with all the required safety gear as well as a Garmin 172c GPSMap with lots of waypoints plotted. Koden Colour sounder, 5 life jackets, if you want kids jackets I can supply no charge, 2 x red handheld flares 2 x orange handheld flares, 2 x parachute flares, reef anchor and chain with 100m plus rope, 1 x sand anchor, compass, fire extinguisher, first aid kit, VHF radio, E.P.I.R.B, gaff, release weight, bait board, spare hydraulic steering fluid, launch rope and spare rope, and other stuff to make your trip comfortable. The boat is fully carpeted.
6.5m - Ehzzah - Currently in Karratha - April 2022
We have two 6.5m all round capable boats. The first, 'Ehzzah', is powered by a 150hp 4-stroke Yamaha, generating 30 knots, these boats will get you where you want fast! Complete with all the required safety gear, 6 life jackets, if you want kids jackets I can supply no charge, 2 x red hand held flares 2 x orange hand held flares, 2 x parachute flares, reef anchor and chain with 100m plus rope, 1 x sand anchor, Garmin 577GPSMap with lots of waypoints plotted. Colour sounder, compass, fire extinguisher, first aid kit, VHF radio, E.P.I.R.B, gaff, release weight, bait board, spare hydraulic steering fluid, salt water deck wash, nav lights, bilge pump, Gopro mounts, launch rope and spare rope, and other stuff to make your trip comfortable. The boats are both fully carpeted.
Tokoloshe - 6.5m Boat - Currently in Karratha - April 2022
Our second 6.5m, 'Tokoloshe', has a brand new 150hp 4-stroke Yamaha, generating 30 knots as well along with fly by wire controls. Along with some added extras for a bit more comfort and a bit more fun:

Boat Hires can be picked up after 5.30pm the night before the hire if required, and need to be returned fueled and cleaned up by 5pm on the last day of the hire.
